In order for interested people to help each other, there is a mailing-list
dedicated to Free Software in KMUST. If you subscribe, you will be able
to join the discussion and get help.
To subscribe:
- Click on the link above and write your E-mail address. Click on subscribe.
- You will receive a message. Hit "reply" and return the message to confirm your subscription.
- You should receive a welcome message. You can now send messages to gnu@studentslinux.nic.kmust.edu.cn.

- Slashdot: a weblog with lots of user comments, in case you have too much free time.
- Dict.org: A set of on-line dictionaries where you will find the definition for (almost) any computer-related word
- Humorix: very funny.
- Debian: a great GNU/Linux distribution. (also in Chinese)
- Super Linux Encyclopaedia
- The Cathedral and the Bazaar: a series of essays that will help you understand how Free Software works. (also in Chinese)
- Google Linux: search Google for Free Software-related information.
- Newsforge: a news sites on Free Software.
- DMOZ, and open directory of web resources, which also contains many Free Software websites
Free Software tools
- If you want to host a Free Software project on the web, you
can use the web-based Sourceforge software, for example on Savannah or BerliOS.
- CVS
